"We don't want to change the horse's world.
We just want him to understand and accept ours."
Three Primary Need's
Horses, whether they are born in the wild or on a million dollar ranch, live their entire lives motivated by three factors, which are valued in the following order:
They will always run or fight until they feel no threat of being eaten by a predator.
When they feel safe, they will do whatever necessary to be physically and emotionally comfortable-that is rest, eat, drink, sleep and remove themselves from anything stressful.
Finally, when they feel both safe and comfortable, they will seek their place in the leadership pecking order of the herd.
When all three of the horses' primary needs- are survival, comfort and leadership-have been satisfied, their next challenge is to get along with each other or anyone that enters into their world.
If you want to be your horse's best friend, leader, and trusting partner, you must understand and master horse psychology, your psychology and communication skills. Now, you and your horse will have clear communication.
By taking my horsemanship program, you will avoid:
and being disappointed
Horses think differently than we do. He has a voice we don't understand so people ignore his warnings.
Horses communicate with body language. Be aware of their communication-Reaction's. We call them stubborn, stupid or dumb.
We have to understand that everything a horse does is for a reason. It's something we don't understand and it puts us in a state of mind that we can't think clearly.
