Send Around The Arena

Send horse around the arena

Prepare to move forward in a straight line. Your directing hand becomes more active, keeping the horse against the rail. Initially, the horse will move towards the center of the arena. You must direct energy through the rope toward the eye. Imagine the rope is a stick and use it to push the horse away.

If this elicits no response, move forward toward the horse's eye.

Increase the energy directed at the eye.

Do not move closer to the horse-

Always stay a flag's distance away from the horse.

When the adjustment is made, move back to your sending position behind the centerline.
